Iconic Danish holiday ornaments that are not only beautiful but sustainably made and fair trade using eco-friendly, natural and up-cycled materials. Each decoration is lovingly made by hand supporting communities in rural India, assisting women with a fair wage and improving their standard of living and opportunities.
FOLDING ORNAMENTS
Easy to fold out and fold in using a magnetic closure. The material used to make the ornament is a resilient up-cycled cotton fabric waste from the cotton industry. The string used to hang the ornament is made of a material called Musa, a unique 100% bio-degradable bio-leather composed of banana fibre and wool. The ornaments come folded flat and presented in a eco-friendly paper sleeve, proudly achieving the Global Recycled Standard certification.
PAPER-MACHÉ BALLS
Recycled paper waste is used to create these unique and handmade decorative balls with a modern rustic form, a small metal loop allows you to hand the ornament if desired. Each ornament is unique and hand crafted in India, using fair trade, ethical and environmentally sustainable practices. Available in three sizes and three finishes: sand, mocha and smoke.
VINTAGE SILK ORNAMENTS
Each piece is a uniquely crafted from recycled Vintage silk sari's, creating evocative ornaments in the shape of a stars and hearts in three sizes. Each Vintage silk star is unique, just as it is in the night's sky or the human heart. Vibrant and muted hues, patterns and shapes will vary through every piece, as they are hand cut and sewn from the fabric.
VELVET TONE & VELVETY COLLECTION
Luxurious rich tones of soft velvet spheres. Velvety comes with a simple string hanger or Velvety Tone ornaments with elegant matching cotton ribbon ties.
NOSTALGIA COLLECTION
Graceful and delicate cut-out tree candleholders and advent crown centrepieces in black or antique gold finishes. The ornament is a simple bell shaped ball with a ribbon tie.
HOLIDAY STOCKING
Generously roomy stocking spacious enough for boxes and presents. Made in a wool & cotton blend fabric in off-white, grey or dark grey. A simple leather strap is provided to hang the stocking on the mantel.
